Unlikely Pair is a unique organization based in Portland, Oregon, that aims to end socklessness in the homeless community. They collect new, used, and odd socks from individuals and organizations and match them into pairs before distributing them to people in need. Unlikely Pair's mission is to provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to those experiencing homelessness, one pair of socks at a time. By repurposing unwanted socks and giving them a new life, Unlikely Pair is also promoting sustainability and reducing waste in the community. Plan the sock drive: The first step is to plan the sock drive. You can create flyers and posters to promote the drive and encourage students and faculty members to donate new, used, or odd socks. Set up donation bins in various locations around the school, such as the cafeteria, gym, or library.2. Assign roles: Assign distinct roles to students to ensure a smooth sock drive and sorting party. Assign roles such as the donation collection team, the sorting team, the packaging team, and the delivery team.3.
